You've dusted off your skill set from 10th grade computer class. You've got your content...you think. And you know you want to use Calibri font. Or maybe Georgia. Ooooh, this scripty font is pretty!
...And suddenly, it's three hours later, your coffee is cold, and you've gotten nowhere.
We sit down, roll up our sleeves & make sure we're on the same page regarding your project.
STEP 1: LET'S CHAT!
Prior to our chat, I will send you a welcome packet that includes a questionnaire. I'll ask you to fill this out ahead of time for me so I have a clear idea of the project for our discussion. We can Skype, Facetime, Zoom, g-chat...even meet for coffee in person!
Using my notes from our brainstorm, I will build out a storyboard for your slides.
STEP 2: The course of action
Before I start creating the slides, I will sync up with you again to ensure that I've captured everything you want to include in your presentation. Once we've confirmed we're on the same page, I'll get started!
I will upload a first draft of the presentation into our Google Drive folder for your feedback.
step 4: first draft
Typically I'll give you about 4-5 days to go through the slides & put together your thoughts, though I will provide you with a custom timeline based on your overall project timing restraints.
Using your revisions on the first draft, I will fine tune a second draft of your presentation.
step 5: second draft
I need roughly three business days to incorporate all of your changes into the revised slides, at which point I will upload the second draft onto Google Drive. While this would typically be the final draft if we were tweaking existing materials, when starting from scratch I like to go through three rounds of revisions.
We'll connect again to walk through the slides, make any last minute tweaks and ensure you're comfortable with the intricacies of your presentation.
STEP 7: FINAL WALK THROUGH
I like this to happen a few days before your presentation or launch so we have time to address any final changes.
Well, you could keep hacking away at your next presentation, trying desperately to get things uniform, buying templates with hundreds of slides when you only need 5 of the layouts & eventually resisting the urge to throw your laptop out the window.
Or...
You could get the shortcut.
From a presentation designer who's built slides for the last decade that brought in over $400 million...
Trained hundreds of professionals...
and received standing ovations.
I typically take on 3-4 projects per month, depending on scope.
I highly recommend booking at least 4 weeks prior to your deadline to allow for revisions.
Pricing varies based on a number of variables, so please reach out to me for a customized price & timeline!

"Cait blew my mind. I started off trying to use a PPT template from Creative Market and I just couldn't pull off what I envisioned delivering to the client so I worked with her and she's just amazing to work with and her work is phenomenal.
Working with Cait was the best decision I made on this project. Her ability to transform my notes into meaningful visuals that clearly delivered my messages/concepts was astounding."
I would say I saved time, but really I just simply couldn't have delivered the level of output to the client that I did by using Cait had I gone at this on my own.

Her eye for design is like nothing else. There is no way you could re-create her expertise by using an internet template it trying to wing it on Canva.
I had procrastinated on this project for far too long before I hired her and it felt like she completed everything to exceptional standards in the blink of an eye. I kicked myself for waiting so long to work with her!
She had an eye for detail and was able to execute brilliantly on a vision that was difficult to explain. Cait is a one stop shop for online excellence!
As an entrepreneur, it is my job to focus on the things that I do best… And leave the other details to Cait. This is her Super Bowl!

frequently asked questions
Well, look at it this way.
Most presentation design firms can complete an average of 2 slides per hour. And we're experts at this.
You will need to spend time on the following:
- filling out your questionnaire once we're officially partners (usually takes about an hour)
- chatting with me to go over your answers & ensure we're on the same page (call usually lasts about an hour)
- reviewing the storyboards & drafts I send your way (this varies, but the more time you spend, the happier you'll be with your final result!)
And, boom. I've got the rest. You can get back to what you love, practice your presentation, or meet the girls for happy hour!
This can vary depending on the complexity of your project, but a good rule of thumb is to get into the queue at least FOUR weeks prior to your presentation.
Not only does this give you enough time to really digest and tweak the drafts I send you, it also gives us ample time to test the final version and ensure no tech issues arise.
That being said, I completely understand that sometimes these things can come up last minute. I will always do everything I can to accommodate your schedule, so please reach out. If I can help & still deliver a stellar product, I would be thrilled to do so!
I believe that as business owners, time is our ultimate currency.
Could you build a presentation on your own?
Sure.
But what would have to be rescheduled? What business tasks would you have to put on the back burner? How many bedtime stories would you have to forego to get it all done to the level you want for your brand?
On top of that, projects that involve tech you're not well versed in can be frustrating, tedious & all-consuming.
Or.
You could let me help you. Take this off of your plate. Get back all of those hours & avoid that tension headache.
To me, that's worth it.
I think Virtual Assistants are an INCREDIBLE resource for growing businesses - a true jack of all trades to help you with your constant juggle.
BUT.
They're just that - a wearer of many hats. Which means that while they're likely fluent enough in your presentation software of choice to build your slides for you, it will probably take them just as long as it would if you did it yourself.
You've delegated the task, but not decreased the hours spent on the project. And that matters for an hourly expense.
Presentations are all that I build. So, I build them fast. I can address issues quickly and make changes on the fly.
My advice? Get the most bang for your buck with your VA through other tasks instead of draining your hourly bank on one project.
I sure am!
Generally, I take on 3-4 projects each month to ensure I'm able to fulfill my projects on time & offer 24/7 support to my current clients.
Feel free to reach out with a bit more information on the scope of your project & I'll let you know ASAP if we've got the bandwidth to help you out!
I use Honeybook to collect payments, and they make the whole process a cinch!
Since larger projects [and heck, even smaller ones] can come with a price tag that seems daunting to pay all at once, payment plans are available. If that's something that you'd like to set up, let's chat!
PowerPoint is both my strongest platform as well as the software I get requested for the most.
Keynote is a close second, and since much of the functionality is similar to PowerPoint my skill set with Keynote is strong.
Google Slides is a platform that is currently on the rise due to the ease of sharing, ability to access slides from anywhere and clean layouts. I've built many presentations on this platform, and while their bells & whistles are fewer than the previous two, their technical ease is a game changer for many.
Canva is also a new player in the game. I find many people design & build their slides in Canva & then export them into a program like PowerPoint or Keynote for the actual presentation. I usually suggest using Canva for design ideas that we can incorporate into a presentation software like the others above, but if your heart is set on Canva, I'm here to help!
Please ask!
There really is no such thing as a stupid question.
These platforms change often and I don't blame you one bit if you're stumped on something along the way.
Please, use me as a resource. I want you to be thrilled with your presentation, but more than that I want you to be able to deliver you presentation with full confidence. If you have a niggling question that's keeping you from feeling 100%, let's address it so you deliver this puppy feeling like Wonder Woman.
